As such, this review is essentially a snapshot of the situation being in place at the end of the first and the beginning of the second decade in the 21st century.
This Bulletin is useful not only to these countries which have weak or non-existent legal and regulatory dam safety frameworks but also to these jurisdictions which are considering changes and improvements to existing legislation and regulations.
