Der vorliegende Sammelband enthält zentrale Quellen und Untersuchungen, die aus der reichen spätmittelalterlichen Überlieferung des Benediktinerinnenklosters Lüne bei Lüneburg geschöpft sind: Die Edition des Statutenbuches (Hs. Lüne, 14) präsentiert die liturgischen Ordines zur Aufnahme der Kandidatinnen, also die Einkleidung, die Profess nach den Regeln der Bursfelder Reform, die 1481 zu Lüne eingeführt wurde, und die Jungfrauenweihe, die als 'Nonnenkrönung' verstanden wurde, darüber hinaus Bestimmungen zu den klösterlichen Ämtern, zu den Pflichten des Propstes und zum Speiseplan. Das Tagebuch der Mechthild Wilde (Hs. Lüne, 24) berichtet von ihrer Wahl zur Priorin im Jahre 1504 und den ersten Wochen ihrer Amtszeit. Die Studie 'Netzwerke der Pröpste' analysiert die Karrierewege der Lüner Pröpste, namentlich ihre Bestrebungen, sich zu Rom mit einträglichen Stiftspfründen providieren zu lassen, und konfrontiert dazu ihre Briefe mit Nachrichten aus den römischen Supplikenregistern. This volume contains central sources and studies drawn from the rich late medieval tradition of the Benedictine convent of Lüne near Lüneburg: The edition of the statute book (Hs. Lüne, 14) presents the liturgical ordines for the admission of candidates, i.e. investiture, profession according to the rules of the Bursfeld Reform and consecration of virgins, as well as provisions on monastic charges, the duties of the provost and the diet. The diary of Mechthild Wilde (Hs. Lüne, 24) reports on her election as prioress in 1504 and the first weeks of her term of office. The study 'Networks of the Provosts' analyzes the career paths of the Lüne provosts, in particular their efforts to be endowed with lucrative benefices in Rome, and confronts their letters with news from the Roman supplication registers.
