Anfängliche Widersprüche können nun zunehmend geklärt werden. Dieses Buch gibt einen anschaulichen Überblick über Entstehung und Entwicklung von frühen Bindungen. Führende deutschsprachige Bindungsforscher erklären, welche Faktoren die Bindungsentwicklung beeinflussen, wie sich frühe Bindung auf das Sozialverhalten auswirkt und wie es zu Fehlentwicklungen kommt. Dabei werden Ansätze der Entwicklungspsychologie, Psychoanalyse, Verhaltensforschung, Neuropsychologie und der Sprachwissenschaft einbezogen.
