Why don't you give exact delivery time?

Delivery time is estimated on our previous experiences. We give estimations only, because we order from outside Hungary, and the delivery time mainly depends on how quickly the publisher supplies the book. Faster or slower deliveries both happen, but we do our best to supply as quickly as possible.

    Short description:

In this book, Valerio Bonanno describes how Albert the Great?s theological model intertwines academic theology with pastoral activity. By analyzing the key role of Titus 1:9 in Albert?s theological works, he highlights the multidimensional nature of the Albertine theology model and its profound connection to the core mission of the Dominican Order.

    Long description:

This study explores Albert the Great?s understanding of theology, aiming to identify the characteristics and limits of the Albertine theological model. The analysis of selected passages from Albert?s Super Sententiarum, Summa Theologiae, and biblical commentaries reveals how he viewed the academic theology (biblical exegesis/systematic theology) and the pastoral activity (preaching/disputing with the heretics) as systematically interconnected. Albert?s strategic use of the pastoral tasks model from Titus 1:9 allows us to uncover the multidimensionality of his theology and to present it as deeply connected to the core tasks of the Dominican Order.
