    This book focuses on advances in environmental research. Chapter 1 conducts a thorough examination of the expeditious implementation of energy and environmental benefits, innovative energy integration models, and environmental sustainability in the Dagligh Shirvan Economic Region of Azerbaijan. Chapter 2 primarily summarizes the applications of LDHs in removing organic dyes from aqueous solutions. The objective of Chapter 3 is to study the chemical degradation of the herbicide profoxydim in two different sterile soils (Seville and Galicia) and its effect with two doses of biochar (5 and 10%). Chapter 4 aims to analyze recent flooding events in Valencia through satellite imagery, showcasing the effectiveness of remote sensing technology in understanding and mitigating the impacts of such natural disasters. Chapter 5 employs bibliometric analysis and computational mapping to elucidate the thematic interconnections between industrial product design, baby product design, and sustainable design. Chapter 6 deals with a novel method for the destruction of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in the air. Finally, Chapter 7 analyzes Indian cities and the drastically rising need for effective and sustainable transportation solutions.
