Denn neben ganz "normalen" Mordfällen taucht eine grotesk präparierte Leiche in einem schäbigen Hotelzimmer auf. Hunderte Spuren, doch alle verlaufen ins Leere. Er wird das Gefühl nicht los, dass dieser Fall verdammt persönlich ist und ihn der Mist seines Vergangenheits-Ichs doch noch einholt. Offenbar hat er dem Falschen ans Bein gepinkelt. Jemand will Rache an ihm. Und wenn er auf der Abschussliste steht - dann auch sein Rudel. Irgendwie muss er sie schützen! Nur wie soll er das anstellen, wenn sein Gegner ihm immer einen Schritt voraus ist?
