The book series Beihefte zur Zeitschrift für romanische Philologie, founded by Gustav Gröber in 1905, is among the most renowned publications in Romance Studies. It covers the entire field of Romance linguistics, including the national languages as well as the lesser studied Romance languages.
The editors welcome submissions of high-quality monographs and collected volumes on all areas of linguistic research, on medieval literature and on textual criticism. The publication languages of the series are French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Romanian as well as German and English. Each collected volume should be as uniform as possible in its contents and in the choice of languages.
Lo studio monografico presenta un repertorio del lessico botanico storico del dialetto napoletano costituito da trecento articoli lessicografici, in grado di documentare una parte consistente dei termini fitonimici attestati nelle fonti letterarie, documentarie e lessicografiche del napoletano in un arco cronologico compreso tra la fine del XIII e il XXI secolo.
La prima parte delimita e mette a fuoco il campo di indagine della fitonimia popolare, tracciando una panoramica concisa dei modelli scientifici e degli strumenti bibliografici fondamentali per il suo studio sul piano linguistico e dialettologico.
La parte centrale ospita il repertorio lessicografico vero e proprio, con la presentazione, la descrizione e il commento delle sue caratteristiche principali: il lemmario, la struttura delle voci, i corpora testuali e lessicografici, gli strumenti impiegati, il trattamento della fraseologia, il commento storico ed etimologico.
Infine, l’ultima parte è specificamente dedicata al commento dei più importanti fenomeni linguistici messi in luce dalle voci fitonimiche redatte.
