The North Yorkshire Moors Railway runs for 24 miles through some of Britain's most beautiful scenery, from Pickering up to Whitby, a stretch of gorgeous moorland that Piglet is lucky to call home. The NYMR is the world's most visited heritage railway with over 350,000 visitors annually.
Piglet is well-known for his laidback demeanour and love of ""all things oily"". He even has his own steam engine, Lucie, which he rescued from Belgium about a decade ago, and then restored in the locomotive shed at Grosmont, and which now runs on the NYMR line most Sundays.
