The book then focuses on the founding, success and global impact of modern Silicon Valley technology companies that are prime examples of disruptive forces. However, while Big Tech has delivered revolutionary innovations and capabilities, the Valley is currently facing a number of social, environmental and economic challenges, which are also examined. Thus, the last part of the study investigates the challenges and potential dangers emanating from the tech giants' success and explores if they have become too big to be controlled.
