Darin verbirgt sich die fast imperativische Aufforderung, dass jeder einzelne Mensch ihnen nachgeht, um sie zu verwirklichen. Rainald Goetz dagegen folgt einer rekursiven Ethik der Übung. Für Goetz ist das Utopische keine noch nicht verwirklichte Möglichkeit, sondern es ist fleißiges Anreichern eines angeborenen Könnens.
