Due to her legacy of peace and humanity, Tanzania has been a home of millions of African refugees from the early 1970s. Those refugees were from South Africa,Zimbabwe, Mozambique,Namibia, Rwanda, Burundi, Zaire(DRC), Kenya and Somalia. Although the Late Id Amin Dada(a former Ugandan president) wanted to dominate Africa, it is Tanzania which ousted Id Amin in 1979, and made the Ugandan people free from ruthless regime.
