Why don't you give exact delivery time?
Delivery time is estimated on our previous experiences. We give estimations only, because we order from outside Hungary, and the delivery time mainly depends on how quickly the publisher supplies the book. Faster or slower deliveries both happen, but we do our best to supply as quickly as possible.

Short description:
The successful management of technological innovation is becoming one of the greatest challenges facing contemporary businesses. In this book, Mark Dodgson examines both the specific and general tasks that managers need to perfom, and covers a variety of activities ranging from basic research to factory production, all within an international perspective. He uses a variety of forms of analysis ranging from simple tools and techniques to theoretical models. Case studies are used to
illustrate key themes, and a series of 'brief notes' are used to analyse particular issues. This very contemporary text will be an important resource for academics, students, and managers throughout the world.
Long description:
The Management of Technological Innovation (MTI) is one of the most important challenges facing contemporary businesses. With technological innovation becoming the fundamental driver of competitiveness for firms in a variety of business sectors, it is essential that the tools and techniques, and the strategies of MTI are well understood.
This book analyses the management of technological innovation by focusing both on the specific and general tasks that managers need to perform. It examines the specific issues of managing R&D, new product development, and operations and production management. It also considers the general issues of managing the complexity and systemic nature of technology, and the knowledge and learning needed in innovative firms. It argues that detailed attention needs to be paid to the broad
contextual changes occurring in industry, management, and the innovation process, and to the continuing and profound changes brought about by globalization.
Mark Dodgson uses a variety of forms of analysis ranging from simple tools and techniques to theoretical models. Throughout the book a number of case studies are used to illustrate key themes, and a series of 'brief notes' are used to analyse particular issues. This very contemporary text will be an important resource for academics, students, and managers throughout the world.
Excellent ... this book, which is written throughout in a very clear and accessible style, has something for everyone. Specialist researchers will find their own particular fields sharply reviewed and boiled down to the real essentials. Yet they will also find other topics treated, about which they may have little knowledge, and they will learn a lot. Managers and wider business and policy readerships will not find a better treatment of what innovation is, why it is important,
and how firms do it. I will certainly use this book and I recommend others to do so.
