Why don't you give exact delivery time?

Delivery time is estimated on our previous experiences. We give estimations only, because we order from outside Hungary, and the delivery time mainly depends on how quickly the publisher supplies the book. Faster or slower deliveries both happen, but we do our best to supply as quickly as possible.

    Long description:

As the cornerstone of Anesthesiology practice, airway management is a procedure frequently performed by anesthesiologists as well as emergency physicians and intensivists. Since airway devices and techniques continually change, trainees must achieve proficiency with all of the various instruments and methods, and practitioners routinely need to update their airway skills. The Difficult Airway: A Practical Guide provides practical guidelines for improving the success rates of airway managers of all specialties who use modern airway devices and techniques. The book addresses various clinical scenarios in a user-friendly format that mimics the approach clinicians encounter at educational workshops. Sections address airway devices and techniques, awake intubation, algorithms of difficult airway management, pharmacologic adjuncts useful in airway management, equipment, preoxygenation, and patient positioning strategies to ensure effective airway management. The Difficult Airway: A Practical Guide is augmented by a DVD containing video demonstrations of airway management techniques.

Overall, I see great practical value in this book and DVD set: it covers an enormous amount very compactly. I think it does fill a gap in the market and will be of value to anaesthetists (and other advanced airway managers) of all grades.
