Eine Auswahl von zwölf Stücken dieses Repertoires wird hier zum ersten Mal veröffentlicht und lädt ein, eine bislang unbekannte Facette im uvre des vor allem für seine Opern bekannten Komponisten zu entdecken. Die insgesamt 61 neu aufgefundenen Orgelstücke werden 2018 in einer kritischen Gesamtedition veröffentlicht in Band II/2.1 der Edizione Nazionale delle Opere di Giacomo Puccini (Carus 56.003).
