Why don't you give exact delivery time?
Delivery time is estimated on our previous experiences. We give estimations only, because we order from outside Hungary, and the delivery time mainly depends on how quickly the publisher supplies the book. Faster or slower deliveries both happen, but we do our best to supply as quickly as possible.

Short description:
This book covers all that medical students need to know in the clinical aspects of microbiology and infection, presented as a series of 70 case histories. The book is comprehensive, presents the material in a problem-solving manner, includes self-assessment material and numerous clinical photographs, diagrams and appendices. It will be of interest to those involved in newer medical undergraduate curricula and could serve as the basis for case-solving sessions, which are now common
in many medical schools.
Long description:
Problem-orientated Clinical Microbiology and Infection is a well-established and widely used medical textbook. It is problem-based, in line with current medical teaching, and covers 70 clinical cases. The book takes the student through a case of infection starting with presentation, to laboratory diagnosis and treatment. It covers all the information that medical students need to know on the clinical aspects of microbiology and infection including epidemiology,
pathogenesis, clinical diagnosis, management; the special topics of the diagnostic laboratory, vaccination and antimicrobial agents are presented separately. The accessible writing style is complemented by numerous good quality photographs, illustrations, and boxes to highlight key information or to address relevant
related areas.
This second edition has been updated to include new material on AIDS/HIV, emerging antibiotic-resistant bacteria and new viral pathogens such as SARS. Included in the text is additional clinical information, to complete the reader's comprehension and knowledge base, as well as self-assessment material at the end of each section. The book also contains appendices that cover the sensible use of the laboratory, commonly used anti-infective agents and the current UK immunisation schedule.
I have no hesitation in recommending it to others. I think that trainee biomedical scientists, clinical scientists and other healthcare professionals will find it worthwhile.
