    The book emphasis the designing of fly ash based Nano composite pigments for NIR reflective coatings. Work synergy of two Nano materials is created for producing multi functional core shell composites for use in low cost NIR reflective coating applications. The book gives an overview of core shell composite materials containing core of fly ash and different metal oxides in the shell like TiO2, ZnO and CeO2. Effective formation of shell of TiO2 on core of fly ash was achieved by using an anionic surfactant, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) by solvent route. Nano titania coated fly ash composite pigments were used for the preparation of cool coatings. In the same way, ZnO coated fly ash and ceria coated fly ash composite was fabricated for their near infra red reflective property so as to find its applications as cool pigments.
