Dieses Paket enthält alle Bände der Max-Weber-Gesamtausgabe.
In der Max Weber-Gesamtausgabe werden die veröffentlichten und die nachgelassenen Texte Max Webers mit Ausnahme seiner Exzerpte, Marginalien, Anstreichungen oder redaktionellen Eingriffe in die Texte anderer wiedergegeben. Berichte anderer über Webers Reden, Diskussionsbeiträge und Vorlesungen werden nur dann wiedergegeben, wenn ein autoreigener Zeuge nicht überliefert ist.
Liegen mehrere Textfassungen eines Textes vor, so werden alle mitgeteilt. Editionen der Texte Webers, die er nicht selbst zum Druck gegeben hat, werden nur dann berücksichtigt, wenn dem betreffenden Herausgeber Manuskripte vorlagen, die uns nicht mehr überliefert sind. Jedem Band ist eine Konkordanz mit den bisher gebräuchlichen Ausgaben beigegeben.
Die Max Weber-Gesamtausgabe gliedert sich in drei Abteilungen:
Abteilung I: Schriften und Reden
Abteilung II: Briefe
Abteilung III: Vorlesungen und Vorlesungsnachschriften

The Max Weber-Gesamtausgabe contains Max Weber's published and previously unpublished texts with the exception of his excerpts, marginalia or editorial comments on the texts of others. If there is more than one version of a text, all of the versions have been included. Those editions of Weber's texts for which he did not give his approval to print have only been incorporated if the editor concerned was in possession of manuscripts which are no longer available. A concordance containing the hitherto most commonly-used editions has been added to each volume.
The Max Weber-Gesamtausgabe is divided into three sections:
