Dann kam mit Fidel Castro und Che Guevara die Revolution nach Kuba, und Korda wurde ihr Fotograf. Er dokumentierte den Marsch der bärtigen Revolutionäre, war 1963 beim ersten Staatsbesuch Castros in der Sowjetunion dabei. Kurz vor seinem Tod im Mai 2001 stellte Korda die schönsten Bilder seiner Zeit als Privatfotograf Fidel Castros und der kubanischen Revolution zu diesem Buch zusammen.
