Die Kommentierung stellt die Änderungen gegenüber der bisherigen Rechtslage dar und greift die mit der Neufassung verbundenen Fragen auf. Sie verfolgt das Ziel, die Regelungen der VO und das auf ihrer Grundlage entstandene Richterrecht in den Kontext des deutschen Zivilprozessrechts zu integrieren, ist aber gleichzeitig darum bemüht, die Sachfragen des Europäischen Zivilprozessrechts aus einer gemeineuropäischen Perspektive zu behandeln.
