This book includes seven chapters that detail recent advancements in psychology research. The objective in Chapter 1 will be a critical analysis of narcissism and determine whether it is a natural occurrence or a pathological state. Chapter 4 discusses the negative impacts of the pandemic’s measures on support and protection services for domestic violence victims in refuges, particularly in guaranteeing and satisfying children's needs. Chapter 5 discusses psycho-oncology, a multidisciplinary field within oncology, and addresses psychological and social dimensions of cancer by exploring the influence of psychosocial factors on cancer development, progression, and treatment adaptation. Chapter 6 explores the psychological mechanisms underlying habit formation and change, drawing upon theories from cognitive psychology, behavioral science, and neuroscience.
