In an introductory chapter Dr Colman, a leading philologist, provides an analytical discussion of the moneyers' names. The volume includes a supplement to Part VI, by Mark Blackburn and Kenneth Jonsson, which publishes 72 additional Anglo-Norman coins from the Stockholm collection.
