In 2017, Institutional Investor ranked George among the top three CFOs in the media industry as part of its All-America Executive Team rankings. Prior, he held leadership roles in finance, strategy and operations at The New York Times, Praxair, Time Warner, and HBO. He received his MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business. He currently serves as the National Board Chair of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
