Die koreanische Sopranistin Hera Hyesang Park spiegelt in der Repertoireauswahl von "Breathe" dem Nachfolger ihres Debutalbums "I am Hera" persönliche Anliegen und eine bemerkenswerte spirituelle Haltung zum Leben. Klassiker sind zu hören, etwa von Rossini, Verdi, Massenet, aber auch die Werke der zeitgenössischen Komponisten Luke Howard, Cecilia Livingston, Hyowon Woo und Bernat Vivancos. Die Sopranistin hat das Album in Genua mit dem Orchestra und Coro del Teatro Carlo Felice unter der Leitung von Jochen Rieder aufgenommen.
Hera Hyesang Park sagt über ihr Album: "Ich hoffe, dass diese Musik die Menschen ermutigt, ihr Leben in Frieden und mit Kraft zu leben", sagt Hera.
