This open access book is China's first new-energy vehicle (NEV) research report based on static indicators and dynamic big data from local electric vehicles. By the end of 2024, China's National Monitoring and Management Platform for NEVs has accumulated access to over 18 million electric vehicles that run dynamically on the national platform and are monitored in real-time. Using the real-time big data collected by the platform, this book delves into the main annual technological progress of NEVs and the vehicle operating characteristics and anticipates the NEV industry trend. Data elements' vital role in promoting the automotive industry's sustainable development is emphasized. With the continuous accumulation of data and technological progress, data elements have become one of the core driving forces for developing the new energy vehicle industry.
