His research and teaching aims to shake up dominant myths in psychology as well as contributing, in some small way, to the development of critical disability studies theories that understand and eradicate disablism. Recent publications include Psychology and Disability (co-edited with Rebecca Lawthom) and Disability Studies: An Interdisciplinary Introduction.
BILL HUGHES Dean of the School of Law and Social Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University, UK. He is co-author of The Body, Culture and Society: An Introduction and a member of the Editorial Board of Disability & Society.
