Nun veröffentlicht er mit der Academy of St Martin in the Fields sein neues Album Beethoven: Complete Piano Concertos am 13.09.2019 zu Beginn des Beethoven-Jahres 2020. Der Pianist sieht in den 5 Konzerten keinen Zyklus im engeren Sinne: Dennoch gehören sie zusammen, denn sie zeigen ein unglaublich differenziertes Bild des Komponisten, angefangen mit den beiden ersten Konzerten, die noch das Erbe Mozarts verraten, über die so unterschiedlichen Werke 3 und 4 bis hin zum majestätischen Es-Dur-Konzert. Lisiecki fasziniert diese Vielfalt, weil hier alle wichtigen, teils gegensätzlichen Facetten Beethovens zusammenkommen. Oberste Prämisse für den Pianisten war bei dieser Aufnahme musikalische Klarheit. Nur dann kann ein Hörer Beethovens Musik als die Summe unterschiedlicher Ideen auch nachvollziehen. Das Album ist ein Meilenstein zu Beginn des Beethoven-Jahres 2020, und zeigt einmal mehr, dass sich Lisiecki längst einen Platz an der Spitze der klassischen Musikwelt erspielt hat.
